S&B Intakes Now Available For the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel
The Ram 1500 EcoDiesel has been taking the country by storm. With best in class fuel economy that approaches 30 mpg, it’s hard not to tip your hat the EcoDiesel. I’ve always loved driving pickups but the trips to the pump have always hurt. Not so with the EcoDiesel.
That doesn’t mean us grease monkeys and gear heads aren’t going to try and squeeze even more out of it. Air intakes have always been popular upgrades to vehicles, regardless of what performance gains the owner is after. Fuel economy, power, and sounds can all have a positive impact. I installed my first “cold air intake” when I was about 15 years old. I had an early 90’s Nissan Maxima and I wanted more power. My install involved a generic cone filter some clamps and… a saw. It was less than professional, I didn’t get more power, but the motor sure sounded good now that it wasn’t being muffled ;).
When you install an S&B intake system on your car or truck, you can be sure that you’re getting a quality product. No saws required here! The intake housings utilize all the same mounting brackets as the OE air cleaner box. High quality rubbers and silicones are used for quality seals and air flow and the clear lid makes keeping an eye on the state of your filter a piece of cake.
Our very own Brandon Jackson installed an S&B on his Ram EcoDiesel just last week and was very pleased with the end result. His review of the product: “Installed the intake on the 2014 Ram EcoDiesel yesterday. Easy install and the fitment was perfect! My first performance upgrade to this truck and it did make a noticeable difference. Can’t wait to see what it does for the MPG. Thanks S&B Filters for another great intake!”
Not only are the installs a simple matter on the S&B intakes but they look great too. The clear cover really is a nice touch. For more information on S&B and available applications for your customers, contact your Premier Performance sales representative.
S&B is also a sponsor of the 2016 Premier Dealer Land Cruise that will be taking place this coming January.
